Joules have been using us for a number of years to create large brand identity graphics for their new stores, refit stores and concession interiors, so when they decided to hold their first Press Show in London back in November 2011 we were delighted to be their first choice to help them create a classic ‘London’ interior for their space.
Rather than use photographic images, the Joules creative team decided that sketch renders were more in keeping with their brand and so we produced a number of these in vinyl for the white walls of the gallery space. These included Phone Boxes, Pillar Boxes and outline drawings of Big Ben, Lamp Posts and Fencing amongst others. We also created freestanding elements such as ‘Sentry Boxes’ from mitred and folded Dufaylite.
As well as producing all the graphic elements for the show we also installed everything over a three day period, starting with over 180sq m of sealed white vinyl floor to create a completely clean white space. Once all the graphic elements were installed the additional Joules branded ‘manhole covers’ helped bring the finishing touches in ‘bringing the outdoors indoors’!
